Tenacious midfielder, Simon Russell, made his 172nd appearance for Trinity in the last campaign, moving up to joint 38th in the all time appearance charts. Picking up a couple of Player of the Month awards in association with Bowland's Brewery and chipping in with several crucial goals, Russell's all action performances make him a fan favourite at the Martin & Co Arena. "I’m really pleased to be staying and it’s great to get it done early. The club have always looked after me and have done so again so thanks to them." Simon continued, "For me Kingy & Rossy have been great from the minute they stepped in, they’ve been great with me too and it’s made the decision easy really."

"I’m hoping to go one better next season and reach the play offs. Last year we had a good enough squad, but fell short and I am certain this year we will have another really good side, competing at the right end of the table."

Thomas Davie, another crowd favourite, extends his third spell at the club, wasting little time in penning a new deal to keep him at the club he affectionately calls home. Davie, who returned on deadline day, has made 77 appearances for the club so far, netting six times and was keen to raise the bar. "I can’t wait to try and push for promotion this year. Liam & Ross are very ambitious after we did well last year."

And we're sure everyone will get behind the new signings and Liam and Ross, as we push for promotion. It's good to have you back lads, now strap in and prepare for an adventure!
