Signed from Sheffield Utd, where he was a former academy player, Nick has only missed a handful of games for Trinity and was the manager's player of the year last season.

PROFILE:
Joined Trinity in 2004 from Boston Town. Richard was once on the books with Chesterfield and has won honours with Loughborough University. Richard has been voted supporters player of the season twice.

Wes Parker

PROFILE:
Joined Trinity in September 2004 after being released by Grimsby Town where he began his career as a junior. Wes made a total of 5 starts for The Mariners. Wes is a versatile defender and has even played as a striker for Trinity with a good goal scoring record.

Martin Drury

MARTIN DRURY (left back)

PROFILE:
Martin (21) originates from Rotherham and began his career at Sheffield Wednesday as a trainee for two years where he played under two managers, Chris Turner and Chris Sturrock.  It was there that his name was first made known to Trinity. He then moved to Belper Town and it was there that he was contacted by Trinity and invited to join Trinity at the Northolme.  Martin admits to being an optimist and firmly believes Trinity can win promotion this season!

 

 

DAVE TAYLOR (right back)

PROFILE:

After playing local football in Doncaster, Dave (22) moved to South Carolina in America to undertake a 4-year scholarship involving academic studies and football coaching.  The course was paid for by the American government!  Dave really enjoyed the way of life in America.


Liam Needham

LIAM NEEDHAM (Midfield)

Originally played for Trinity last season after his release from Sheffield Wednesday. His fine performances earned him a recall to the Football League in December 2005 with Notts County, who have since loaned home back to Gainsborough in November 2006.


Lewis Mcmahon

LEWIS McMAHON (Midfield)

Lewis (22) joined Sheffield Wednesday as an apprentice and spent 6 years there playing 30 games for the first team and scoring 2 goals.  He thoroughly enjoyed his time there but was released after receiving a serious injury and on recovery never fully getting his place back in the team.


Alex Callery

CALLERY ALEX JAMES - PROFILE:

Alex (24) has already made his mark at a number of clubs.  He, like two of the others, joined Sheffield Wednesday as a trainee and spent three years with the Owls.  He played under 6 managers and remembers the good times under Danny Wilson.

From Wednesday he moved to Worksop (2 years), Ossett Town (1 year), Frickley (2 years), Grantham Town and Bradford Park Avenue (last season).


Chris Hall

CHRISTOPHER HALL (left sided forward) - PROFILE:

Chris (24) has already made his mark at Trinity scoring four good goals and already had two Man of the Match awards.

He began his career at Burton Albion where he spent 3 happy years.  He then moved to his home Lincoln when he signed for Lincoln United.  It was there that Trinity made contact with him and put in place his move to the Northolme.


Danny Anson

DANNY ANSON (Midfield) - PROFILE:

Summer arrival from Unibond Division One outfit Stocksbridge Park Steels, who he helped to the promotion play-offs last season. A target of Trinity manager Paul Mitchell for some time, his previous clubs include Sheffield FC, Alfreton Town and Matlock Town.


Danny Wood

DANNY WOOD (Midfield) - PROFILE:

Now in his third season with Trinity after linking up with the club following his release from Sheffield United, where began his career on schoolboy forms and was captain of the reserve team. Club captain.

Paul Clayton has joined Alfreton.


Ryan Mallon

RYAN MALLON (Forward) - PROFILE:

Main league career playing for Sheffield United. Signed for Trinity on a permanent basis in January 2006 from York City following a second loan spell last November. His first stint on loan came whilst a Halifax Town player, and he finished second highest goal scorer last year. Recently returned from a broken leg sustained in an FA Cup qualifying tie last September.  A crowd favourite; Ryan chases every lost cause turning a significant number into goals.

Nathan has joined Lincoln Utd


Simon Bird

SIMON BIRD (Forward) - PROFILE:

Striker who signed for Gainsborough at the start of the 2004/05 season following his return from studies in the United States. Became a firm favourite with the Northolme fans before his season was ended after sustaining a broken leg in March 2005. Returned to competitive action towards the end of last season after eleven months on the sidelines. Returned from a loan spell with his former club Lincoln United in the Unibond League.

Alex Rodman - PROFILE:

Signed from Lincoln Utd - Alex is highly regarded and can play on either flank or as an attacking midfielder.

James Dudgeon - PROFILE:

James joins the Blues from Stalybridge Celtic as a central defender having had wide experience in both the football league and non-league football. James spent two seasons with York City, as well as spells at Worksop, Halifax and Barnsley.

On loan from Notts County, Frost is a right sided midfielder who can also play upfront.

On loan from Notts County. Matt is on loan with Trinity for a second time, the versatile midfielder can also play in defence.
