Speaking after putting pen to paper: "I am delighted to be back here and see familiar faces, as-well as the new ones around the club. I’m really grateful to Bish and Stampy for offering me another opportunity at the club and showing faith by re-signing me. I am now fully focused, looking forward to helping the team achieve the targets set for the season. I can’t wait to be back playing in front of the fans this season. And seeing you all on Saturday!"

"I know the quality of players that the Guiseley side had on show on Tuesday and Gainsborough produced a positive performance and result. It was a typical Bish and Stampy team. Organised, Brave and Exciting. So I can’t wait to be a part of this squad moving forward."

For one reason or another, things didn't quite work out at Nethermoor; perhaps the most obvious reason being that young Conway just looks better in blue!

The tenacious midfielder, who isn't afraid to put a foot in, hence his nickname, taken from former Liverpool and Barcelona man, Javier Mascerano, made twenty appearances for Trinity during the 2022/23 Pitching In Northern Premier League season, going on to score the equalising goal away at Atherton Collieries. Initially having arrived from National League North outfit Alfreton, where he was picked up from Rossington Main, Bailey's stay at Gainsborough might not have been the longest, but it is fair to say, it has been an eventful one! A time he can't wait to resume...

Blues' boss, Neal Bishop was delighted to be reunited with the youngster who scooped the Supporters Young Player of the Year Award last season:

"Bailey's obviously left in the summer to try somewhere else and we've absolutely no problem with that. We didn't fall out. We wished him all the best. And it didn't work out. And now, we are more than happy to welcome him back. There are no grudges, there's no hard feelings. He is a fantastic little footballer and he's one of them who will only get better. And we are delighted to welcome him back to the club."
