Boss Russ Wilcox again urged the Gainsborough public to get behind his side: "Please get behind the lads again tomorrow. Let’s try to make Northolme (Kal Group Stadium) a fortress. Your support is vital to us all. Be loud and proud." Wins against Guiseley, Stamford and Atherton, coupled with draws against Bamber Bridge, Marine and Matlock in the cup, as opposed to the Gladiators record on the road, that has seen them pick up two wins away - on Saturday (both coming in the league). A 4-2 win over Stafford Rangers, coupled with a 3-0 victory over Marske, mean Matlock shouldn't be under estimated away from home.

Sitting tenth in the league, with 14 points from their ten games played (one more than Trinity), Tuesday's visitors boast the league's leading marksman, Jonny Margetts. The former Trinity, Scunthorpe and Lincoln City forward has eleven to his name so far this season, so Dylan Cogill, Hamish Douglas and the rest of the back line will need to be on their mettle, to prevent him from adding to his seasonal tally. Ash Jackson and Callum Yam could be in line for make their home debut for Trinity. Jackson on loan from Scarborough and 'keeper Yam from Sheffield United.

Programme

Lots of information is packed into the Matchday Programme, created in association with Matchday Creative. BBC Radio Lincolnshire's Dale Storey returns with his regular slot, and he discusses the different interview techniques needed with the various characters he has come across in his role.

Why not pick up your limited edition copy of the programme, read up on our opponents, take a look back over the years with Steve Andrews' features, from under his bed. Take in Phil Anderson's View from the Carlilse Street, or just take a look at some of Russell Dickens' action photos from the win over Atherton Collieries ten days ago- a joyful Dayle Southwell featuring on the cover as he netted his second of the afternoon, courtesy of a sublime free kick.

Sponsors

Thanks to Horsleys of Gainsborough for their Matchday sponsorship of Tuesday night's game. Rearranged games are always difficult to sponsor at short notice, and with a couple of games in quick succession not featuring on the original fixture card, these opportunities can sometimes be missed.

If you are interested in sponsoring a game and want to be kept up to date with what's available, please get in touch with Director, Geoff Holmes by emailing This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
