In form, Declan Howe, moved onto eight league goals on Saturday. Netting his second brace away from home, he'll be looking to continue his scoring streak with high flying Hyde next in his sights. "A quick turnaround for the game tomorrow, another away journey and hoping to see as many fans behind us as possible. Although we didn’t get the 3 points, morale and spirits are high and the lads are keen to put Saturdays result right! On a personal note I’m also hoping to keep adding to the goals tally to play my part in that. See you all there."

Ahead of the game, Wilcox is busy looking to bring in a goalkeeper having lost Luke Jackson to injury on Saturday. Hyde will be looking to build on their 2-1 victory over Morpeth, a game in which they created a host of chances, but could only secure a narrow victory. The Tigers have managed to remain consistent from last season's spell around the top six. Again sitting in fifth place in the NPL table. Last season Hyde narrowly missed out on a play-off spot.

Two defeats at home for Hyde have come against Lancaster City and Whitby Town, along with one draw (on opening day with Guiseley) alongside six wins. The six wins have yielded three clean sheets, against Basford, Ilkeston and Marske, which tells you the attacking prowess of Blues' forwards Howe, Southwell and Clarke will need to be at their best to get something from this one!

Despite the hosts play-off place, it's still only nine points that separate the two sides. Testament to how tight the NPL is from top to bottom! Averaging 1.72 points a game, Jack Redshaw leads their scoring charts with eleven in all competitions. Another of the scoring threats comes in the form of former South Shields centre forward, Lewis Alessandra.
