We’re urging as many people to come on, for this next period of games, that will truly help to define our season, and show where we want to be come April. As with any club starved of income through a lack of home games, the Holy Blues have been challenged to keep ticking over, but are now determined to see that our successful start to the season doesn’t go to waste.

Recent away disappointments now need to be placed to one side, and with the backing of our passionate home support, we now, really need to kick on! Last time out saw a 1,000+ gate rewarded with a 3-0 victory over play-off chasing Matlock Town to underline our credentials. A performance in a similar vein will prove just the shot in the arm, Neal Bishop’s boys need, as confidence has taken a knock in recent weeks.

Set for home debuts are Jay Glover and Jamie Bramwell with Bramwell set to come up against his former loan side. Also returning is young winger Harry Lewis who returned to the club on loan from Scunthorpe United ahead of the midweek defeat to Liversedge. Boss Bishop has been working to add the right bodies to bolster his squad ahead of the weekend, but at the time of writing there have been no fresh additions to the side. Hanging on to the final play-off spot, the Holy Blues will be hopeful of a change in fortunes when Whitby visit on Saturday.
