Solid, centre back, Nathan Stainfield is now embarking on his third season at the club, having initially been signed from Spalding United. Stainfield has gone on to cement himself as a regular at the heart of the Trinity defence. Read Bio

Joe is now in his second season at the club having joined from league rivals Buxton. He has previously spent time at National League North level with Boston United and Nuneaton after 4 impressive seasons with Ilkeston FC. A strong centre back, he has a great partnership with Stainfield. Read Bio

Sam joins from Cleethorpes having previously been at National North side Alfreton Town. Operating at right-back, Sam is comfortable on the ball and likes to get forward when possible. He won the FA Trophywith North Ferriby alongside manager Liam King while on loan from Hull City. Read Bio

Green signed for Trinity in the summer having most recently played at Handsworth Parramore. He was brought through the ranks at his home town club Rotherham United in 2007. During his first season with United he broke through into the first team after some impressive performances. Read Bio

Sheffield Wednesday academy graduate, Ciaran Brennan is a tough tackling, yet cultured defender, both strong on the ground and in the air. Brennan made his Trinity debut in the FA Cup defeat away at Rushall. Read Bio

Versatile defender Horton joined for his second spell at the club in the Autumn of 2019. A season-long loan was agreed with parent club, Doncaster Rovers, after the energetic defender impressed following his initial month. Read Bio

Another player who is no stranger to Gainsborough having only left the club last summer, Davie re-joined former manager Frecklington at Matlock last season and also had a spell at Scarborough. He is an attacking full back who likes to get forward and cross into the box. Read Bio

A fan-favourite, Russell re-joined the club in January of 2018. Having already played over a hundred games for the club, he is the highest appearance maker in the current squad. Simon also played 134 times for Kidderminster Harriers earlier in his career. Read Bio

Another experienced midfielder and under his second spell at the club having previously been at Lincoln City and Boston United. In his first spell he managed to help the club reach the National League North play-offs, with a 5th place finish. Shane is a strong presence in midfield. Read Bio

Midfielder, Middleton re-signed for the club in the summer having initially made twenty appearances in the last campaign. Sent away to get fit and prove his hunger, Middleton did just that. Read Bio

James began his career as a youth team player at Sheffield United. After joining at the age of ten he went on to captain the likes of Kyle Naughton and Kyle Walker in the youth team. James scored on his debut for the England C team against Estonia in 2014. Read Bio

Nathan Hotte had previously spent four years at Bradford Park Avenue, making 183 appearances, so is a player with plenty of League North experience. He was also club captain at the Horsfall Stadium for a time. Though primarily a midfielder, Hotte is versatile. Read Bio

This season sees Ross continue to combine playing with assisting manager Liam King with the running of the side. He returned to Gainsborough at the beginning of last season, where he originally joined in 2006. He went onto have spells at Bradford City and most notably Grimsby Town. Read Bio

Gavin Allott is a prolific striker who originally signed for Frickley in July 2012 from Worksop Parramore in the NCEL. Following a goals-filled career with Frickley he joined National League North side Boston United. He left Westfield Lane with close to 120 goals to his credit. Read Bio
