Ensuring Neal Bishop and Darryn Stamp's boys are in prime condition for the season curtain raiser, a season in which we hope to go one step further, the lads will start their Pre-Season campaign with a short trip to the West Street Stadium, to take on freshly promoted Step Four side, Winterton Rangers. The game, on Friday 7th July, will kick off at 7.45pm.

Eight days later, the Holy Blues are at home, for the biggest game of the pre-season schedule as we welcome a Manchester United XI to DN21. In a 3pm kick off at the Northolme, a first visit for the Red Devils since the Holy Blues hosted the Old Trafford giants as part of our 125th anniversary. This date is certainly a special one for your diaries, and as such, should be kept clear! Let's get the ground rocking and have a great turn out! Tickets are now available to buy online through our online ticketing portal and are set to be popular.

The following Tuesday (18/07/23) we welcome Lincolnshire neighbours Scunthorpe United to DN21. Former Peterborough Sports' boss Jimmy Dean, brings his new look Irons to the Northolme, in a game that should see a bumper crowd, between the two sides that could have ended up facing each other in the league next season.

A home game against Jamie Clapham's Lougborough University on Saturday July, 22nd as the new signings including Lewis Butroid, Dayle Southwell and Bobby Johnson look to fully acclimatise to their new home surroundings, for the season ahead! Facing off against the side we defeated in the Emirates FA Cup, last season, 'the Students' will be looking to impress their Step 3 opponents, and maybe catch the eye of Blues' boss Bishop.

Following that, is a Tuesday night warm up, against Hallam FC's at Sandygate. As stated, on their website, it's a match at the world's oldest football ground. This one will be a first for a few of the Trinity faithful to tick off, as the Holy Blues come up against Craig Denton's much fancied NCEL Premier Division side. Names within the squad that Trinity supporters may recall, include central defender Chris Salt and centre forward Iren Wilson, who spent a brief spell with us last season.

The last warm up game of July sees a trip to the seaside, as the Holy Blues head to Cleethorpes Town, to take on the Owls and a quick reunion with former Trinity loanee, Harry Lewis! The Step Four side, looking to provide a stern test for Bish's boys a fortnight out from the league curtain raiser. We have been advised that the 3pm kick off has ticket prices of £7 adults and £5 concessions (under 16s and over 65).

Still to finalise, is the game on August 5th, which we will provide further details on, nearer the time.
