On securing the services of the talented stopper, manager Russ Wilcox expressed his delight at keeping the number one at the Kal Group Stadium, "I am delighted to have extended Luke’s loan with us from Sheffield Wednesday. A big thank you to them for making this happen. Luke has been an excellent addition to the squad, getting a clean sheet on Saturday. Hopefully there will be more to follow."

In other loan news, Harrison Poulter has returned to his parent club, Scunthorpe United following the end of his three month loan period. The winger made ten appearances, scoring once in the 4-0 rout of Guiseley, back in August.

The boss added, "We wish Harrison Poulter all the best moving forward with his career. A big thank you to Scunthorpe United. Unfortunately for Harrison, the form of Declan (Howe) and Dayle (Southwell) has limited his game time with us."
