The reverse fixture takes place next Saturday (the 9th March) on a rare double header, that will surely add some extra spice to proceedings! The Seasiders have had a very stop-start season in the league. A number of factors can be attributed to that - a run to the First Round FA Cup has certainly added to that, but then so too has the weather. A number of postponements have fallen the way of our visitors, ensuring a hectic end to February & beginning of March.

Trinity's good form that extends beyond the three consecutive wins, five maximum hauls in the last eight see Wilcox's men in high spirits. Declan Howe again embarking on a hot streak in front of goal, with four in his last three games. Skipper Dylan Cogill popping up with important goals, netting twice in the last six & new man, Joe Stacey having scored twice in nineteen minutes!

Coupled with four clean sheets and only five conceded since the turn of the year, there is plenty of reason to be optimistic as the Holy Blues head into March! In the league, Morpeth (away) was the last time our visitors picked up all three points on their travels. A goalless draw against Workington was superseded by narrow one nil defeats to Worksop Town & Warrington Rylands, somewhat stifling their late play-off bid. Can Trinity put a further dent in their chase for the top five?

We need your support & backing, so why not bring along your friends and family & put on a great show of togetherness and solidarity - and hopefully that little bit of sparkle and stardust quality!

Matchday Programme

Recent recruit Joe Stacey adorns the cover of out Matchday Programme, for the visit of Whitby Town. Inside there is plenty to read. The View From Carlilse Street takes a look at the Chairmen, past and present, in light of the arrival of the new man at the helm... we take a look back at some of the recent programmes, their covers and contexts for the season, thanks to Steve Andrews diving under the bed & digging out some treasures.

We also get to know our new Strength & Conditioning Coach, Dan Solts & learn about his journey, and how he arrived at the Holy Blues. There's the regular view of boss, Russ Wilcox, captain Dylan Cogill & the Chairman himself. In the volunteer spotlight this week is Head Steward, Jason Ollerton. Phoebe Duckworth's photos from the 3-0 win over Basford feature, and Russell Dickens' images from Gainsborough Trinity Ladies' Semi Final against Stamford Women are also included in an action-packed programme!
