2024/25 Retained and Released List

Following the conclusion of the 2023/24 campaign, Gainsborough Trinity Football Club can confirm the retained and released list. Many players are being retained, with three released, and on-loan players returning to their parent clubs. We would like to place on record our thanks and gratitude to departing players for their efforts whilst wearing Gainsborough Trinity colours, and wish them well for their future careers.

Retained

The following players are under contract for the 2024/25 season:

Fraser Preston
Bobby Johnson
Ashley Jackson
Lewis Butroid
Bailey Conway

The Blues have taken the option to extend Javelle Clarke's contract for a further year. Conversations are still ongoing with Dylan Cogill and George Hornshaw. New offers having been made to both players.

In addition to the above, Danny Devine’s contract has expired and whilst new terms have not been offered at present, the club will continue to assist and support Danny in his rehabilitation from injury. We look forward to seeing him back in training as soon as he is fit to do so.

Released

The following players have been released:
