But anyway, back to the visit of Prescot Cables to the Kal Group Stadium on Saturday afternoon. The side who beat us 2-0 at their place a few days before our Isuzu FA Trophy, last sixteen games. A night to forget for the Blues, in Merseyside. It wasn't a happy hunting ground (on this occasion) but it hasn't been for many sides going there this season!

Sat three places, but only a point behind the Holy Blues, in 11th, Prescot Cables have enjoyed quite a successful season following a turbulent pre-season following their promotion to Step 3. Picking up 14 wins and 9 draws in their 37 games, Cables 36/51 points have come at home, only 15 points coming from their 18 away league games with a -12 goal difference. Comparably, Russ Wilcox's men have picked up 25 points on home turf, 10 more than Ste Daley's side.

Having picked up five wins in the last six. Drawing the last of those final one of that half dozen. They last tasted defeat on February 15th, when they lost 3-1 away at Morpeth Town. Trinity have picked up ten points in the previous six games. Defeats against Bamber Bridge (away) and FC United of Manchester (home) intersected three wins and a draw, wins coming at home to Bamber Bridge and Whitby Town - And away at Blyth Spartans.

As Wilcox's men look to finish the season strongly, with as many points on the board, there is the motivation to revenge the away defeat from the back end of January. Can Trinity rise to the occasion?
