Away games at Club Thorne Collieries and Bottesford Town kick start the pre-season fixtures, before Trinity welcome EFL League 2 side, Grimsby Town to the Northolme on July 15th (7.30pm kick off). The Mariners, who finished two points outside the play-offs, will bring a full squad, managed by David Artell. The game will be unsegregated, with advance tickets for home and away supporters available to purchase online.

Scunthorpe United visit the Kal Group Stadium on Saturday, July 19th - fresh from their promotion back to the National League, a game against Andy Butler's Irons side, will provide Wilcox's men with another stern test. Again, this fixture will be unsegregated, but those looking to purchase tickets in advance, can do so here. The kick off time is still yet to be fully confirmed, though it will be the afternoon of the 19th.

Wednesday July 23rd, the Holy Blues are again in home action. A Lincoln City XI are set to visit the Kal Group Stadium.

A trip to West Yorkshire, to Brighouse on Saturday, 26th July (1pm kick off) sees Trinity round off their pre-season away games. Town having suffered relegation last time out, but have helped produce some top quality talent in recent years. Two of whom line up in the current Gainsborough Trinity squad: Exciting attacker Javelle Clarke & recent new signing - centre back Harrison Beeden - both having played at Brighouse previously, before catching the eye and stepping up.

Seven days later, the visit of a currently unnamed League One side wrap up Trinity's preparations. The game on Saturday 2nd August giving Wilcox the final couple of sessions to ensure his side are fully up to speed ahead of the Pitching In Northern Premier League curtain raiser, on Saturday 9th August.
