Last season, the two sides played out a 3-3 draw at the Kal Group Stadium. An early goal and a dubious late penalty sandwiched a Dec Howe hat-trick The Blues would love to round off preparations with another positive result. Five wins and a draw against a strong Grimsby Town (of League 2) have so far seen Trinity score twelve, while only conceding four (three clean sheets). The challenge faced by the young Barnsley side should make for a watchable game - two of the Blues' most consistent players last season, Will Lancaster and Jordan Helliwell previously having come through the Barnsley stable & the next talents coming off their production line will be worth a look at.

Admission prices for this, whether buying advanced tickets, or paying cash or card on the gate are Adults £10, Concessions £6 & Under 16s £2.
As Russ & KP put the finishing touches to their squad, the boss encouraged supporters to come along and back the Blues. "We are looking forward to hopefully another entertaining game against Barnsley. It’s our final chance to put things in place before the season gets underway next Saturday with another home game against Ashton United. Please come along and support the players."
Season Tickets
Those of you wanting to take advantage of similar prices throughout the season - your best bet is to splash out on a Season Ticket. Under 16s can take advantage of tickets that equates to less than £1 a game! Concessions (at £150 for the season) come in at £7.50 a game, while Adults can save £2.50 a game - with regular 'on the gate' prices £13 Adults, £9 Concessions and £4 for Under 16s.
If you can afford to pay up front for your Season Ticket - you certainly do land yourself a bargain, but also help the football club to budget ahead!
