Russ Wilcox's side will return to the bread and butter of the league, full of confidence after taking Sky Bet League 2 Accrington Stanley all the way to Extra Time. And so nearly forcing penalties, as George Hornshaw's 119th minute effort whistled fractionally wide of the post. Despite the positional gap, an offside goal was the only time the ball found itself beyond David Robson & the Trinity defence, in normal time.

Sisa Tuntulwana's towering header restored parity. Taking the game to extra time. Seeing more of the ball, Charlie Caton restored the visitors lead, but the Blue Army could hold their heads high & go into Saturday's NPL game knowing they can compete with anyone at this level.

And it's Rushall Olympic, who come to town next. Bizarrely, they're the side that Accrington beat in Round One of last season's FA Cup! Rushall had picked up eight points from their seventeen away games prior to winning at Stocksbridge Park Steels on Wednesday night. Going five games without a win. Defeats 4-0 at Bamber Bridge, 3-1 at FC United & 3-1 at Whitby preceded that 1-0 win at Bracken Moor. Although managerless Stocksbridge did miss a stoppage time penalty that would have given them a share of the spoils.

Six points from the next two games, though tough, would give Russ Wilcox's men a fantastic platform on which to build, before the league campaign is once again halted for a cup game, this time the Isuzu FA Trophy. Spinning plates is a difficult one for Wilcox's side, but one they have become accustomed to. And the boss has more options at his disposal currently.

Playing as a forward, Tuntulwana has certainly discovered his shooting boots since being moved up top. He is now on four for the campaign, but three of those have come in the last five matches!
