Now, the trip to face the Yellows represents a first opportunity to land the first double of the season. A 2-0 win at the Kal Group Stadium, back in September, represented the Blues' fifth clean sheet and fifth clean sheet of the campaign. Both tallies of which Wilcox will be hoping to add to on Saturday.

The last time the sides met at Cantilever Park - the Holy Blues were victorious on that occasion too. Neal Bishop masterminding a 2-0 victory, with a two goal salvo from Liam Waldock midway through the first half, earning Trinity their first win at Town.

In the game at the Northolme the two sides drew one all. Hopefully that is something of a step change in Trinity's fortunes at Warrington Town! And the Blues can build on Tuesday night's draw with a positive result at the weekend!

Town have had a season of two halves so far. Home and Away. Nine home games have earned six wins and three draws, keeping seven clean sheets. Yielding 21 points with a plus 10 goal difference. However on the road they have only picked up five points and have a -15 goal difference!

Trinity will be boosted by the return of defensive duo Adam Crookes and Aaron Simpson. Adam from his one game ban for five yellows. Aaron for his sending off at Prescot. New signing, Theo Williams, signed on Friday from Kings Lynn Town will also hope to be involved as Trinity look to close the gap on the play-off pack.

A victory for the Holy Blues would see Trinity leapfrog the Yellows, who currently sit one place and one point above Gainsborough by virtue of having played two games more. There will be a rare outing for our Change kit of Green & White. Last worn on Tuesday 10th September against Stocksbridge Park Steels. The Trinity faithful will be hopeful of another victory for the marmite kit.

Here's hoping that come 5pm, victory for Russ & the boys can be celebrated. Let's go!
