The 18 year old is available for selection from Saturday, and will have managed two training sessions with his new team mates by the time we kick off, on Saturday. Speaking after his first training session on Tuesday evening, the attacking midfielder admitted,

"I’m delighted to be here and very grateful for the opportunity that have been given to me , Everyone has been very welcoming and I’m excited to get going and contribute to the team over the next month! I really enjoyed my first session with the lads and I can’t wait to get going this weekend."

Joining Grimsby as an Under 9, Brown has worked his way through the age groups, all the way to the first team. He made his EFL debut last March, against Salford City & came off the bench in the Mariners' Carabao Cup shock victory against Manchester United earlier this season.

Highly thought of at Grimsby, the youngster has seven professional appearances under his belt to date. The loan to Trinity represents his first period away from his boyhood club, and Gainsborough boss, Russ Wilcox was delighted that the Holy Blues would be entrusted with the next stage in young Henry's development:

"Henry is a player we have monitored since pre-season when he played against us for Grimsby Town. He’s a player with flair, that can add to what we already have in the final third."

"A huge thank you to David Artell for making this happen. There was interest from other clubs but Henry wanted to join us. Welcome to Gainsborough, Henry." We echo the thoughts of boss, Wilcox and look forward to seeing this hard working, technical individual, blended into our matchday sixteen.

Go well Henry B! Charlie Carter has returned to parent club, Mansfield Town. Thank you to Charlie for his time with the Blues & The Stags allowing him to link up with Russ Wilcox's side.
