The previous two encounters one in the league, and one in the FA Cup have seen a win and a draw for Russ Wilcox’s men, over Ian Long’s charges. places higher than Tuesday's defeated opposition - as Trinity head into the final seven games, Russ Wilcox will be hoping his side are hitting form at just the right time.
Trinity's goals on Tuesday night coming from Theo Williams & Jonny Margetts. A goal that was Jonny's first since the 3-0 win over Ashton United, in February & Theo's first since arriving on loan. Goals that will hopefully fill the pair with confidence for the run in.
Coupled with the solid defensive showing, and a fourteenth clean sheet of the season, boss Russ Wilcox praised his sides dominance in both boxes. Citing those traits as the reason for his side's victory.
Goalkeeper, David Robson will be targeting another shut out, as he competes with Hednesford goalkeeper Tony Breeden for the Golden Glove. Breeden is currently one clean sheet ahead, but has played an additional two games. Interesting times indeed!
