Since becoming one of Russ' first signings, initially on loan from Scarborough Athletic, Jacko's whole-hearted commitment, passion & personality have endeared him to the Trinity faithful. An experienced member of the squad, at 31 years of age, Ashley's knowledge of the game, and playing maturity are key aspects that will continue helping to shape the club culture moving forwards.

"I am over the moon to be offered a new deal for next season, as soon as I saw the call from Russ I knew what my answer was going to be. The decision was easy as since I joined the memories and support from Russ, backroom staff, players and supporters has been amazing, and long may it continue."

"The hunger and desire is still there and I want to make sure that we get over the line this year after just missing out this year. I already can't wait to get back on the turf already so we can give the fans something to be proud off."

Jacko's signing is as important off the pitch, as well as on it, and the fact that he is the second re-engagement with well over a hundred appearances, shows the commitment to continuity in building something special at the club.
