Fleet-Footed Javelle Clarke Retained in Blue

One of the most recent Trinity centurions, Javelle Clarke, has extended his stay at Gainsborough for another season Fondly remembered for his performance in that classic FA Cup encounter with Hednesford, where he was instrumental in our fightback from three down, ultimately grabbing the equaliser to take the game to penalties.

Javelle has shown great character to comeback from his serious injury to play a good chunk of the season for the Blues. His versatility and creativity across the front line makes Javelle an exciting member of Russ Wilcox's squad for the upcoming 2026/27 season.

Clarke is excited at the prospect of spending another season with the Holy Blues & is determined to improve his goal output as he looks to propel the club forward, "I am delighted to sign for another year and can’t wait to get started and continue for another good year hopefully bring more FA cup memories and hopefully get it over the line in the league."

As a tricky wide player, Javelle will be looking to chip in with more goals and assists. In his 108 games, he has scored 14 goals, at a rate of a goal every 7.7 games. The fleet-footed, front-foot forward minded attacker, is still only 24 years of age - and is ready to excite the Trinity faithful. once again Let's go, Javelle!
