Highlights including a 5-1 win at Northolme with Rod Orlando-Young netting four, or at the Turnbull Ground when it was six of the best for the Blues under Bish. Four goals in nineteen second half minutes blowing away the Seasiders. Those are games in the past, and the Blues will be ready for the task in hand. A rare Pitching In Northern Premier League fixture amongst a schedule that has seen five of the last six games - featuring Trinity in knockout competitions.

Now, preparing to meet for the first time this season, the two teams sit finely placed. Trinity in 13th, have Whitby a place and a point behind Gainsborough. The Seasiders having played one game more.

Denny Ingram is expected to lead the side, on Tuesday. Lee Bullock's Assistant, stepped in as Caretaker with Bullock stepping down to focus on himself, after a health scare. Everyone at Gainsborough would like to wish Lee a speedy recovery. As matchday rivalries aside, the human side remains within the non league footballing family.

Six home games in all competitions, this season, has seen the Seasiders win one (2-0 against Ilkeston Town) alongside five defeats (0-5, Warrington Town, 1-4, Alfreton and 2-5, Ashton United). Away from home has been a different story however, with wins against Leek, Quorn and Hyde that yield a warning - Whitby shouldn't be underestimated.

Three players have been amongst the goals for Whitby, in league fixtures. Callum Hickman (6) Four coming in 29 minutes away at Quorn! Stuart Rose (5) and Jory Phuthi (3).

Gainsborough’s goals have been shared around a lot more this season, with a large number of players chipping in with goals. New signing, Ronnie Kokkinos will be keen to make his league debut, after forcing penalties with his 90+5 equaliser at Bury, but having to sit out the defeat to Anstey Nomads in the FA Cup, due to being cup-tied.

Going into this one, WIlcox will be looking to impose his non-negotiables. Demanding his side are better in both boxes to provide a solid platform on which his side can build. And hopefully backed by another good away following - despite the Logistics- Trinity will be hopeful of returning to Lincolnshire, with all three points in the bag.
