Averaging around a goal every ten games from the heart of midfield, across 300+ games, Kingsley will add a threat in the box, whilst also proving to be a dominant player in the middle of the park. An FA Trophy winner with Halifax in 2016 and a runner up with Macclesfield a year later, Kingsley will be looking to bring his winning mentality and know-how to the side, as the Holy Blues look to finish as high up the league as possible.

Assistant boss, Ross Hannah was over the moon to get this signing over the line, as he told the Gainsborough Trinity website, "Kingsley is someone we identified early on when discussing potential targets. He had plenty of interest, as we imagined he would, but he was keen to come on board and bought into the plans, he was impressed with the way the club is run and the way we want to go moving forward. In my opinion he is a national league player and someone I know well from playing with and against him on numerous occasions. He’s a real coup for the football club."

"At 27 he offers very good experience with the right mentally we’re looking for, in terms of having played in the football league and many seasons in the conference. He brings energy, leadership qualities, football nous, versatility and goals from midfield positions as he has shown at Halifax, Macclesfield and most recent Guiseley. He’ll compliment the strengths of our other midfielders very well and makes that key unit very strong, we’re looking forward to working with him and seeing him in a Trinity shirt!"

As the ink dried on his deal, Kingsley revealed his target for the season "I am really pleased to be joining the club and I can't wait to get started. I want to enjoy playing football and be in a professional environment and I know we are going to get both here. In terms of this season, the aim is to help the team as much as possible and bring goals from midfield and lead by example. As a team we just need to try and win as many games as we can and see where that takes us."

Welcome to the club Kingsley!
