The away side ply their trade in the BetVictor Northern Premier League, South East Division. In the league, their last fixture ended in a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Cleethorpes Town. Veteran striker Scott Vernon got both goals in that game, each side of half time. They currently sit in 7th position and are battling for a play-off spot although they do sit eight points outside of the top five. Kidsgrove also today announced the signing of Stoke City player Abdul Sankoh, who will go straight into their squad for this cup tie. Sankoh is an exciting prospect and will be worth a watch tomorrow night!

The Holy Blues will be looking to bounce back after their first loss in twelve games on Saturday at the hands of Stalybridge Celtic; another goal from in form striker Gregg Smith was not enough to continue the impressive unbeaten streak. Make no doubt about it, Trinity will be taking this game seriously due to the club sitting comfortably in mid table and now approaching the last quarter of the league season. Make sure to get yourself to the Martin & Co Arena and cheer the lads into the fourth round!

Ahead of Tuesday's game, manager Curtis Woodhouse commented: "It’s a game and competition we will now be taking seriously. Realistically we won’t be making a late run for the playoffs and have no chance of relegation. This competition gives us a focus and an aim, so we will be in it to win it."

He continued: "The team will have a couple of changes from Saturday but will still be a very strong squad. I’m very keen for the lads to show the same desire and application they have shown since I’ve been here for the rest of the season. We have to make sure the standards remain high."
