Egyptian Wonderkid Salem Signs for Blues

Egyptian wonderkid, Ahmed Salam has joined up with Curtis Woodhouse's Gainsborough Trinity side on a Youth Loan from Championship side Hull. The hot prospect, who can play at wing back, or in midfield adds to the competition for places as the Holy Blues prepare to take on league leaders South Shields at the Gainsborough Martin & Co Arena this afternoon (Saturday 29th February 2020).

Yorkshire born, to Egyptian parents, Ahmed joined Hull from Leeds United as a youngster, progressing through their age groups to the academy side where he has continued to catch the eye. Boss Woodhouse recently watched the highly regarded talent as he took in a Hull u23 match and can't wait to see what he can do on the Northern Premier League stage. Welcome to the club Ahmed!
