He was initially a target, as a sixteen-year-old, under Liam King and Ross Hannah. The teenage shot stopper is highly thought of by his parent club, with City manager Grant McCann handing him his first team debut in a Papa John's Trophy tie against Leicester City, last season. Rewarded with a three-year contract extension in February of this year, Harvey now looks to take this opportunity and play regular men's football, to help Trinity string together some impressive performances and climb the PitchingIn Northern Premier League table.

A loan spell at Barton Town gave a young Harvey his first taste of the men's game and reaffirmed the beliefs that he is a bright young talent in the game. Since then, capped by England at U18 level, the Grimsby born youngster joined Hull's academy at U13s, working his way through the year groups to the first team.

The second of the two signings is 17 year old forward Billy Brooks. Born in England, but capped by the Republic of Ireland at U18 level, Brooks is highly regarded at Lincoln City where he has already appeared for the first team, this season.

Both are available for selection later today in our game against Stalybridge Celtic as Trinity look to make the most of three home games on the spin. We wish Harvey and Billy a successful stay at the club and thank both Hull and Lincoln City for their co-operation in getting these deals over the line in time for today’s fixture.

Former Trinity duo, Jock Curran and Joao Antonio Soares Rangel have joined Pontefract Collieries having had their departures announced on the website last week. We wish them both well with Ponte.
