Consecutive league victories have so far been scarce for the Holy Blues, only twice this campaign have Trinity picked up back to back wins. FC United of Manchester at home was followed up by Lincolnshire Cup, Semi Final progression with victory over Boston United. And prior to that, victory over Atherton Colls was backed up with a 3-0 win over Coalville Town in the FA Trophy. Consecutive wins is certainly something Shaw and his side will be determined to achieve, with no time like the present being the perfect opportunity.

Hyde United, since parting company with their second manager of the season, have been in improved form of late and prior to Trinity's Tuesday night victory over Colls, The Tigers had leapfrogged Trinity. It does though remain very congested from 13th place Atherton (44 points) down to Stalybridge in the relegation play-off spot (39 points), five points separating seven teams. Between the sides facing off on Saturday, there is only a two point gap, with both sides having played the same number of games. Trinity with a minus 12 goal difference is only marginally better than Hyde's minus 13 goal difference.

Managed by Nick Spooner, the former Bolton Wanderers defender and midfielder, Hyde grabbed a dramatic late winner at home to Witton Albion taking them to 7 points from the last nine on offer. Last time the sides met, prior to Christmas, Bradley Roscoe popped up late to earn a share of the points after Declan Bacon had put the Holy Blues in front, just before half time. Hyde have only had one draw in front of their home fans this season, with eight wins and nine defeats making this a tough one to predict! It's certainly set to be a good match up between the two sides, that's for sure!
