Gainsborough Trinity Football Club Wear It Pink in support of raising money for life-saving breast cancer research. Together we can beat this. October 18th is Wear It Pink day and we've produced a special edition shirt, with all profits going to Breast Cancer Now. We now have the kit in stock and the team were proud to wear it during the home game on Saturday. We will be wearing it again tonight against Buxton Football Club, and of course, they're nice enough to wear at any time! Support this cause and Wear It Pink.

Director, Darren Ashley is proud to support an event like this, "As a community, family-based football club we are proud to fully back this great cause. And we hope to be in a position to support this amazing Wear It Pink event for many years to come. Many people will know someone or know someone who knows someone who has been affected by this awful disease, so it made sense to do all we could to raise awareness in town, through the power of football." The limited-edition shirts that were produced sold out in record time ahead of the Atherton fixture with the proceeds going to the cause alongside the bucket collections held at the two fixtures.

An unnamed member of the playing squad donated his wage to the cause as he fully got behind the event, making a fantastic gesture, proving the in-it-together spirit typified by players, management and supporters at the football club. Players’ match worn shirts will be auctioned over the coming weeks, again seeing the proceeds going towards supporting such a worthwhile cause.
