The boss, Russ Wilcox explained how the chance to sign Douglas came about: "The opportunity came around and we went for it - Hamish is a big, strong centre back and has been around their first team. Including earlier on in the week when he travelled to Millwall. I am hoping that he can come in and make us stronger at the back, because certainly our away form is shocking to be honest. We need to stop the goals going in, and he can help with that."

Hamish came through the Rotherham United Academy, making such an impression that he was quickly signed on a two and half year deal in December 2022. Join us in giving Hamish a warm welcome, as he continues his footballing development at the Kal Group Stadium.
