In that match, he replaced Lewis Butroid at the interval, slotting in effortlessly at full back, but is equally at home on both wings, or just behind the front men in the number 10 role. Blues Boss, Russ Wilcox, outlined his knowledge of the young man, who caught the eye of the Trinity faithful last weekend, before again impressing in training during the week, as he detailed:

"Nat Wallace, who I know very well, is a lad I had on loan with me last season at Farsley. I know him mostly from his Scunthorpe days as well. So, he'll come in and add competition for places. He can play on both flanks, at full back, if pushed, like he did last weekend against Stamford in the cup. So hopefully that’s another good signing we have got in the door."

The 18 year-old gave a brief insight into his career moves so far, and how he is relishing the opportunity to play competitive, senior football:

"I’m almost 19 so playing men’s football is great for my development. For the past two years I’ve been a scholar at Scunthorpe United, but made a couple first team appearances whilst in the National League. Last season I also made a couple appearances under Russ while on loan at Farsley Celtic in National League North."

Welcome to the Holy Blues, Nat. We're sure you will enjoy your time in the blue (and grey) representing Gainsborough Trinity.
