Johnson, Conway and Southwell were key components in last season's positive run - and with the returning match fitness, and game sharpness, they will provided an added dimension to the squad. Bobby importantly making his first start of the season in midweek, really was a positive for both Russ Wilcox and the team, but also the supporters!

As Javelle continues to build himself up, in an attempt to regain full fitness, he is sure to be like a new signing for the side, with his attacking creativity and flair that allows him to glide across the turf. Skipper, Dylan Cogill, insisted: "The FA Cup game against Grantham is massive for the club financially. We will be doing everything in our power to get through to the next round. As players it’s one of the biggest competitions you can play in and we’re all striving to go as far as possible!" Speaking about the importance of keeping a first clean sheet of the season, Cogill said, "Getting back to keeping clean sheets, and winning ways on Tuesday is a massive boost for the confidence of all of the lads, but we will need the fans backing us as I know they can do! Please be loud, please be vocal and back the boys!"

Grantham Town are managed by Louis Bland, and have so far picked up three points from their opening six league games. They sit in 20th place in the Northern Premier League - Midlands Division. That's Step 4, a tier below the Holy Blues' current division. Scoring four and conceding eight in their half dozen games. The Blues, in our respective division, sit in 12th with ten points from eight.

The Gingerbreads have already played four games in the Emirates FA Cup, winning three and drawing one. They have progressed through ties against Sherwood Colliery (in the Extra Preliminary Round, after a replay), Yaxley (Preliminary Round) and most recently Newark and Sherwood in the last round.

Meanwhile, Russ Wilcox’s men have played just the one FA Cup tie so far, defeating AFC Telford United of the Southern League Central Premier Division, 2-1 at the Kal Group Stadium a fortnight ago. Declan Howe and Lewis Butroid on the mark in that one, setting up this weekend’s clash between the two GTFCs!

In the FA Cup, the two sides have met nine times previously, this being the tenth time the sides, separated by 41 miles, have been drawn together. Trinity are currently ahead by five games to four – and will be hoping to extend that advantage on Saturday! Although it will be no easy challenge for Russ and the team, the £3,375 prize money up for grabs from winning this round alone, will give Trinity that added incentive to come through this Lincolnshire derby.

The turnstiles for the game are open from 1:30pm, with The Blues Club open to home and away supporters from midday. Cash or card will get you in, on the gate, with prices set at £13 Adults, £9 Concessions and £4 Under 16s. Please remember that Season Tickets are not valid for this fixture.

Should the game end level after ninety minutes, a replay will be required. This is likely to be played at Grantham’s South Kesteven Stadium on Tuesday 17th September, with a 7.45pm kick off. This would mean that Trinity’s scheduled game against Basford United on Tuesday, would be rearranged.
