Gainsborough were seconds away from securing a memorable victory on home turf on Saturday, and must overcome the devastation of that late hammer blow. But Russ Wilcox's side must have the belief in the camp that they can head to Boston - and complete the job. All the pressure will be on the home side from two divisions above. The home fans will not want Trinity to be the noisy neighbours having taken the scalp of their higher ranked hosts. With Ian Culverhouse's side bereft of confidence. A fact noted by the manager himself, and former Trinity striker, Jacob Hazel, in their aftermath interviews.
Boston are winless in eight, and Wilcox's Blues will be hoping to make it nine with victory on Tuesday night. And heap yet more pressure on the former Kettering Town boss. The Jakeman's Community Stadium have witnessed The Pilgrims pick up just two points from their seven home games so far this season, 1-1 draws against Tamworth and Aldershot, giving cause for travelling optimism.
Gainsborough’s away form this season 
has been the positive so far, alongside the cup form. And likely to be backed by good numbers on the road once again (the supporters coach a sell out) there will likely be a party atmosphere in the East Stand, win, lose or draw! Trinity will be looking to join fellow NPL side Guiseley in the First Round Proper, after The Lions were victorious against Kidderminster Harriers at the weekend. The other Step 3 side, Macclesfield, beaten by Tamworth in a six goal thriller at The Lamb Ground.
On the Road
Away supporters will be housed in the East Stand, accessible via turnstile E2. Admission prices are £17 for adults, £14 for concessions (OAPs and students) and £6 for under-16s, if purchased online, in advance. Matchday prices are subject to a £1 supplement per ticket, with contactless available on the turnstiles. You can buy your tickets online on the Boston ticket portal.
Elsewhere
There are four games in the Pitching In Northern Premier League, Trinity would have made it five, if it wasn't for the cup replay. With sides around Trinity involved, half an eye may be elsewhere ahead of Saturday's return to action, but I doubt it. With Wilcox's side having their focus, firmly fixed on making the First Round.
