Already having navigated three rounds in the world's premier knockout competition, Russ Wilcox's Holy Blues began their adventures with a 2-1 win over AFC Telford United at the Northolme. A dynamite first half showing, saw Trinity up and at it from the off. Declan Howe netting inside seventeen seconds, before Lewis Butroid completed the victory, heading home, from Aaron Simpson's pinpoint cross. The Second Qualifying Round saw Trinity paired with Grantham. Again, the game was to be played at the Kal Group Stadium. Gainsborough seeing off the Gingerbreads by the same scoreline. A 2-1 home victory. This time Howe hitting an FA Cup brace to continue his hot scoring form.
Darlington was the reward for seeing off Grantham, and a brilliant victory, coming from a goal down to win away at the side from the league above, with the meanest defence. The cup kicks were once again on song. With the Trinity goals coming from Howe and Butroid. While Russ Wilcox's men were navigating three Qualifying Rounds of the world famous competition, Boston were busy focusing on their Vanarama National League campaign, having won promotion to the top tier of non-league football, last campaign. Their first tie of the 2024/25 season, the exciting local derby we have been building up to all week!
The Match
The game is segregated. Boston United supporters will be housed 
on the Away Terrace. We can confirm that inline with The Sporting Events Act 1985, Saturday's game is classed as a designated sporting fixture. The consumption of alcohol inside the ground is banned. Therefore all bars will be closed during the game. Home supporters only will have access to the Blues Club concert room at half time, but drinks must be consumed within the club.
Tickets
Online ticket sales have been going really well, leading us to believe we will be in for a bumper gate on Saturday. We are still encouraging the purchase of online tickets to help with the smooth running of the day, but we are pleased to advise, that you will still be able to gain entry on the day. Home supporters will have the option of cash, or card payments on the gate. Boston supporters however, will only be able to pay cash at the Away turnstiles. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
Tickets are priced at Adults £13, Concessions £9 and Under 16s £4. With no Premier League, or Football League games on locally due to the International break, there are no distractions.
