Second Round Proper: Selected for TV

The BBC and ITV have made their live broadcast selections for the Second Round Proper of the 2024/25 Emirates FA Cup, and we are delighted to announce that the Holy Blues' historic Second Round tie against Harrogate Town has been chosen for television coverage on BBC 2. Clubs selected for television coverage receive a broadcast fee, in addition to an extra share of the prize money pot.

In our next round, prize money is split £75k to the winning team, £20k to the side losing out. So far, Gainsborough Trinity's adventure through the rounds of this season's Emirates FA Cup has netted the club a remarkable £65,625 in prize money, winning through five rounds ahead of the challenge that lies ahead, in the form of Sky Bet League Two side, Harrogate Town, our former National League North rivals. The match will therefore take place Friday 29th November 2024. Kick off at 19:45 at Harrogate's 5000 (2000 seater) capacity The Exercise Stadium.
