Saturday is Trinity's last game on 3G this season, a campaign that has seen us improve massively on the artifical surface. Last season, Trinity scored six goals in 8 eight games away from home, on plastic. Compared to this, where we already have ten in seven and nine more points, demonstrating an ability to pick up points on 3G, and meaning we go to Hyde, full of confidence that we can pick up a positive result.
Hyde have been struggling of late, but picked up a morale boosting win in midweek against National League North outfit Curzon Ashton.Their 4-2 win in the Manchester Premier Cup Semi Final only their second win in ten. Their last victory before the Curzon win also coming in the MPC (Abbey Hay, Quarter Final). A run which has included five one-one draws and a defeat to the Holy Blues, back in December.
At the start of the week, versatile forward Joe Stacey left the club on a one month loan to Cleethorpes Town, citing a desire to get more game time. Joe was a late substitute in Clee's 3-1 win on Tuesday night against Newton Aycliffe.
