Trinity travel to Step Four, Corby’s Steel Park on Saturday, off the back of the Lincolnshire derby victory over Cleethorpes Town. The first round opponents, currently sit top of the Midlands Division of the Northern Premier League, with four wins out of the five in the league. They also recorded a 2-0 win over Sileby Rangers in the Preliminary Round of the FA Cup.

Experienced Manager, Gary Setchell, led his side to the play-offs last season, only to see them beaten 2-1 by Worcester City back at the beginning of May. Over Bank Holiday, they tasted their first defeat of the season, losing to second placed Coventry Sphinx (now only a point behind) at Steel Park, but returned to winning ways away at AFC Rushden & Diamonds, by a goal to nil.

As Russ Wilcox prepares to lead his side into the FA Cup, he had this to say to the supporters: “The FA Cup journey stats again on Saturday, with a tough away tie at Step 4 Corby Town. They have started the season well, taking 12 points from a possible 15. Your support at Cleethorpes was outstanding, so please make the journey and make the same noise. It was great to see so many Trinity fans really getting behind the team. The journey last year created memories that will last a lifetime. Let’s see if we can make some more!”

Previously | It's 45 years since the sides last met one another in FA Cup & Russ Wilcox’s men will be looking to avenge a 2-0 defeat at the hands of the Steelmen. Last time the sides played in Corby however, nearly ten years ago – Trinity ran out 2-1 winners, Simon Russell scoring from the spot, and Liam Davis heading home a near post corner, to give Trinity the win.

Match Details | Trinity will be playing in all blue, with Corby wearing Black and White striped shirts, Black shorts and Black socks. So it’s a case of donning anything BLUE and getting right behind Russ and the lads throughout the afternoon. Needing to find the ground? Steel Park’s postcode is NN17 2FB, and provides ample on site parking. Corby have advised that they are producing a Match Programme for the fixture, these are available at £2 each. And Admission prices are set at £12 Adults, £7 Concessions and Under 16s £2.

Elsewhere in the Emirates FA Cup First Qualifying Round, where teams from the Pitching In Northern Premier League, Premier Division are in action. Eleven teams (including Trinity) are away from home in this round, where there are also four all NPL Premier Division ties. Leek Town travel to Harborough Town, who like Trinity, reached the Second Round Proper of the competition. Going down 5-3 away at Reading.
