Ironically, Rylands are the side Trinity face on Saturday, as the business end of the season really hots up. It’s all to play for in the Pitching In Northern Premier League, Premier Division. And nothing should be taken for granted.

Trinity’s improving home form, has seen a return of fourteen points in the last six games. While Bamber Bridge’s last six away from home, having only accrued a point less (with thirteen points). This one is finely poised – and could go either way.
Just six weeks ago, the sides faced each other at Iron Gate. Russ Wilcox’s men running out 3-1 winners that evening. Kofi Moore cancelled out Lewis Butroid’s early strike midway through the first half, before Sisa Tuntulwana restored the Gainsborough advantage, Jordan Helliwell wrapping things up, deep into added time, as Jamie Milligan’s side chased an equaliser.
Brig visit Gainsborough in poor form, included within the last eight, is the Trinity win, but Milligan’s side have won just once in the last eight games, seeing them drop down to ninth in the table. Nine points off the play-offs & ten points from the drop,
but with games in hand on all but Cleethorpes below them in the division. Can the Holy Blues make it six successive Tuesday night victories? There has certainly been something about games under the lights, in midweek, for Russ Wilcox’s men.
