Stockton are a point behind Trinity, but they too have a game in hand on the side directly above, i.e. Russ Wilcox's men. With Stockton still to travel to Hebburn (Bank Holiday Monday) and Rylands (on the final day) intrigue is set to take this one right down to the wire. In the last six games, Stockton have picked up ten points, including three wins, two losses and a draw. Two more points than Trinity from the last eighteen up for grabs.

Russ & the boys are thriving on your support away from home - and with three of our five games coming away from home - let's do all wrong can, to end the season with a flourish.

Michael Dunwell had his side in the play-off spots last season, only to be deprived due to an administration error. Again his Anchors' side have been up and around the top spots for most of the season, but have again been hit, this time with a three point penalty, for an administration error. On the field, his team has certainly been turning out consistent performances at Step 3, but are likely to be smarting after last weekend's 3-0 defeat to Hyde United.

Kev Hayes, Josh Scott & veteran Stephen Thompson provide a very attacking front trio, to top a very attacking side, which are sure to give David Robson & his defence a tough test, as always, boss Russ Wilcox will be hopeful that his side dominate in both boxes - and in doing that - give us our best chance of recording a three point maximum.

Despite one point from six being registered, in the last two games, for the Blues, largely down to a lack of goals, Wilcox is pleased that his side are creating as many chances as they are. And like the Gainsborough faithful - will be hoping that our shooting boots can be found, in time for the five cup finals, that mark the end of season run in.
