Good Friday's defeat to Stockton & Warrington Rylands' comprehensive victory over in form Workington, have seen Trinity slip back to sixth, two points and five points off Stockton & Rylands respectively.
There have been plenty of moments to be proud of once again this season, but we need everyone to come together, these next four games, to really urge the team on. This group have shown they can roll their sleeves up and fight for the badge, but they need your backing and support for four more games. Will you stand up and be counted? We know tensions can run high. Frustrations can be felt, but we are all in this together. Side by side, the blue of Gainsborough Trinity, shoulder to shoulder, positively encouraging. Roaring the team on from the stands and the terraces. Lets do this.
The Blues will be determined to get something out of the game against Guiseley, to reignite the play-off push, but one win in six has threatened to derail the Trinity charge. Forty-five games have begun to tell on Russ Wilcox's side, as injuries have began to mount up, but this season has been full of ups and downs, twists and turns. And in the remaining weeks of the season... there are sure to be more!

Things remain incredibly congested at the top. The play-offs certainly shouldn't be discounted. But they're certainly up for grabs! Lincolnshire neighbours, Cleethorpes will still be harbouring an outside chance of crashing the play-offs late after five wins and three draws in the last eighteen propelling them up the table.
Guiseley arrive at the Kal Group Stadium with two wins, two draws and two defeats in their last six games, including the 1-1 draw with Hyde United on Easter Saturday, where they were pegged back after having taken an early lead through Joao Silva, five minutes in. Jack Redshaw's strike the minutes from half time, ensuring the points were shared. Leaving the Lions in 12th, with 47 points.
Managed by Ian Richards, the former Stocksbridge Park Steels and Penistone Church boss takes charge of the side that have won 13 league games, drawn eight and lost sixteen. Five of their 13 league wins have come on thr road, while they have lost 11 of their 16 away from home, scoring twelve times in 18 outings. Seven wins & seven draws st home have held Trinity back from cementing a spot in the play-offs so far, but with home games running out, anyone of a Trninity persuasion will be hoping that starting with Guiseley - on Easter Monday - the Blues can rise again.
