His continued, outstanding contribution to the football club, once again continuing, as he raised another £10,000 through his Cash Draw/ Raffles, at both home games, and club events during the year. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you! It was confirmed that Claire Booth is to stand down as a Director of the club at the end of the season, although it is her intention to very much remain involved, moving forwards. Claire was presented with a small token of appreciation, prior to presenting the first award of the evening.

The next Award, was the Junior Blues' Player of the Season. This award was presented by those selected from a draw of members, with brothers Jarrod, Lucas and Jase Jordan invited up to make the presentation.

Bobby Johnson was invited to the floor next, as he presented the Player's Player of the Year Award. The one where the players get to vote for their peers & is often one of the more coveted of awards, by that very nature.

Following Robbo's second award of the evening, Manager Russ Wilcox was invited to the stage, where he praised the hard work behind the scenes, to Chairman Dave Horsley, the Board of Directors - the ground staff (for the best pitch in the league) and the many amazing volunteers.

As a precursor to presenting his award, he paid tribute to the team & the collective, before listing a number of players that had made important contributions to the side.

He gave importance to the job done pre-Christmas by Club Captain Bobby Johnson. And subsequently George Hornshaw, who took up the mantle in the second half of the campaign, not missing a game, following Bobby’s Boxing Day injury.

Wilcox mentioned the consistency of Harrison Beeden at the heart of defence, before deciding on sharing the award with two players:

From eight games at Farsley, to convincing Robbo to do a full season with the Holy Blues, both manager and player have been rewarded with fifteen* clean sheets throughout the course of the season. Helliwell having racked up an incredible 101* appearances in two seasons, an amazing achievement, for the box to box midfielder. As something of an unsung hero, due to the high standard & consistency of his performances.

The Supporters’ Player of the Season was presented by Trinity Away Travel organiser, Darren Gray. Both Jed and Russ showed their and the club's appreciation for the work carried out by Darren & Richy Doran, for their outstanding contribution to the Trinity Travel Club. Recognising the excellent away support at games and the impact that has had on the team.

25/26 SUPPORTERS’ PLAYER OF THE SEASON

The final award of the evening was the Top Scorer Trophy. Presented by Mrs Wilcox, Rachel, who presented JONNY MARGETTS with his Golden Boot.

With the presentations drawing to a close, a number of items were auctioned off, including a signed home shirt, an Emirates FA Cup match ball, signed legends shirts and a pair of tickets for Non League Finals Day. Nearly £500 was made, thanks to some generous bids!

The evening went on, late into the night, with more entertainment provided by Dan Hadfield, while players mingled with supporters. Youngsters having shirts signed & posing for photos. The result earlier in the day may not have been what we were looking for, but some real season highs were marked, and the turnout demonstrated the backing this group have got.
