Butroid averaged just over a goal every four games during the last campaign. Scoring five times in the league, and five in the cups, to ensure back to back double figures from midfield. 27 year old, Lewis reflected on his time so far, and what he hopes will continue to be, an exciting onwards journey: "It was a pretty easy decision to stay, I love it here and we are in a really good place to achieve something special."
"We have a really ambitious g
roup and hopefully more of the lads follow in signing up for next season. These last two seasons I feel have been the best of my career, hitting double figures for goals and double figures for assists, two years running, is something I am proud of and can hopefully continue to do that and help the team finish even higher up the table."
"Living so close and having a young family made the decision even easier as I love walking out with my little boy and can't wait to continue that next season. We are also expecting a baby girl so to get to walk out with them both at my hometown club I'm sure will be a special feeling if I get the chance."
"Hopefully the cup runs have given the club that bit extra needed to get us in the best place possible to achieve what we want to, this year. I've been enjoying the leadership role I have taken on with Bobby, and feel like it has come on a lot from previous years. They are qualities I didn't think I had that I have been able to add to my game now - and I'm really looking forward to next season, hoping for a good one!"
Lewis is excited - and so are we. He has led the way, signing on the dotted line... Now, it's your turn, to underline your commitment to the cause: 2026/27 Season Tickets on sale, here.
