Simmo Targets Century in Season Three

The second player to commit his future to the Holy Blues, is right back Aaron Simpson. The right back has impressed since relocating up North & catching the eye in pre-season two years ago. Putting in a string of consistent performances at full back. Steady & dependable at the back, and possessing some real quality going forwards, Simmo has created a good number of opportunities for others, and hopes to continue in a similar vein.

Now, having signed for the 2026/27 season, Simpson is targeting a century of appearances for the Holy Blues. Currently on 85 appearances, at the end of the season just finished, the 29 year old full back still has plenty to offer, as he continues to enjoy his football. That, coupled with his longest spell at a side, have seen him grow, both as a player and a person & is in peak shape, ready to tackle the upcoming season.
