Nicky Walker grabbed all three points and the match ball in his only outing of the month, is worthy of a mention too, but as it stands our listed four are as follows: Will Thornton, Kingsley James, Declan Bacon, Gregg Smith. Thornton has kept up his performances at the heart of the Trinity defence, which saw him earn the December award. Slotting back into the centre of the park, James has started to stamp his authority on proceedings, demonstrating why former boss Liam aking brought him to the club. Declan Bacon might not be hitting the net as frequently as he would like, but his contribution on the right side of the attack hasn't gone unnoticed by the Trinity Media team. Unbeaten since arriving in Gainsborough Blue, Gregg's goals have been an important aspect of Trinity's upturn in fortunes, four goals in the month of January, getting the Blues bouncing.

You can now vote for your selection on social media with voting closing at 2pm on Saturday to enable the presentation of the award, prior to our fixture at home against Basford United, kicking off at 3pm. The winning player will be presented with his case of cask ale, kindly donated by league sponsors Boland’s Brewery. Please be sure to cast your vote!
