Quick as a Flash: Howarth Lands

Lightening quick striker, Leon Howarth tonight joins us from Handsworth FC where last season he was fast tracked into their first team squad, finding the net nine times in 19 appearances during the 2018/19 season. Blessed with frightening pace and deadly in front of goal, Leon has scored ten in 17, this campaign. He boosts the attacking options for Blues' boss Curtis Woodhouse, who has moved to secure Howarth on an initial one month loan.

Of the signing Woodhouse commented, "Leon is a player with lots of ability and potential. Leon has great feet and a great turn of foot and also an accomplished finisher and will be a good addition to our squad.” He finished by saying, "We would like to place on record our thanks to Handsworth FC for helping us get this one over the line so Leon will be available for Saturday's game."
