Thirty four year old Martyn enthused, "Woody took me under his wing as a twelve year old, when he let me work on the pitch as a volunteer. I could never forget what the club and what he did for me at the time, and I certainly wouldn't have had the opportunities in my career if it wasn't for him."
The friendship has continued since the early days, with Martyn putting together a proposal to help the football club progress, quite literally, in the pitch Included within the brilliant new partnership, provided by Martyn and MKS Ground Care are, an extremely generous £3,000 donation, to be used on ground (and in particular, pitch renovations), a fuel card for ground maintenance machines, Pitchmark Direct Line, pitch marking paint and free labour on repairs to our ground based machinary. MKS will also support in the inclement weather, when there is sometimes the need for more hands on deck
"This is an exciting partnership, which emphasises our community spirit and inittogether attitude" declared Chairman, Richard Kane as the deal was rubber stamped. In return, Martyn gets to give back to the Holy Blues, and his company gains exposure through the placement of MKS branding, positioned on the next fixture board at the Martin & Co Arena.
