Born in 2002, 19 year old Ethan is a Gambia Under 20 international, who made one appearance on loan, for Spalding United, in a goalless draw with Wisbech Town, last season and joins the Holy Blues keen to make an impression, "I want to prove to people I am ready to make an impact in senior football. I will add energy and creativity to the team and look to make and score goals. I am grateful to Bish and Damo for the chance to express myself at a good level and look forward to repaying the faith they have shown in me."

Neal Bishop, of the Management Duo, reflected: "Ethan's signing is a signing we are delighted to get done. Similar to Clayton he is someone that probably could have went to a club further up the pyramid, but we had a really positive chat with him about what we feel we can offer here, the style of play we intend to implement, the type of players we are looking to recruit and what we can do for him as an individual. We feel like we can improve Ethan as a player and really push him back towards full time football. He has that potential."

"I’ve spoken to him at length as I went on a similar path in that I was released from a league club and forged my way through non league back into the Football League and I feel it’s something Ethan identified with."

"He’s been with us for a couple of weeks now and has enjoyed training and the environment we are trying to create and I think that has helped him reach this decision. Both Damo and I have a desire here, to improve young players and if they help Gainsborough Trinity, we will help them try to fulfil their ambitions in the long term."

Welcome to the club Ethan!
