A strong, tenacious, Nottingham born forward, who relishes the battle with centre halves, Goodman looks forward to the challenge that lies ahead at Gainsborough as he excitedly explained: "I am hardworking, dedicated and will give everything for the team. And I am hoping to score lots of goals while I am here." Jack spent a short time out on loan at Stamford last season, on the way to the Dannies winning the league and gaining promotion to Step 3.

Blues' boss, Neal Bishop exclusively told the Gainsborough Trinity Official Website:

"He is someone we had with us last pre-season and were going to take on loan from Doncaster then, but for one reason or other, it didn't happen, but he's one we have kept our eye on, and Doncaster have been good enough to entrust us with him. He is a good lad, he'll add competition to the forward places, has a very good eye for goal and he's a very good signing who we are delighted to get on board."
