Ticket information will be released in due course, following necessary dialogue between the two clubs, local authorities and the police. Please keep an eye on the club website and social media for more details as we can release them.
Sponsorship packages will also be released in the coming days as Gainsborough truely comes under the media spotlight. The Holy Blues have been rewarded for coming through five matches to reach the First Round Proper for the second successive season. A feat last achieved eighteen years ago.
Gainsborough have seen off Corby Town, Rushall Olympic & Dunston UTS (all by a 2-1 scoreline) before beating fallen, former football league side Hartlepool United after a replay. The stunning 3-1 win at Victoria Park more than turning a few heads, and subsequently setting up the tie against Accrington Stanley.
Accrington, a former Northern Premier League team, currently sit 20th in Sky Bet League 2 with nine points from eleven games. Managed by John Doolan, will not be looking forward to their trip to Lincolnshire with Russ Wilcox's Holy Blues. Ready, willing - and more than able - to spring a surprise!
