Wrexham Youth team graduate Tharme has progressed through the youth levels with The Dragons from u16 level, progressing to make his senior debut in December 2017 in the FA Trophy. The youngster had a spell on loan at AFC Telford United last season, but saw that deal cut short. The youngster is highly regarded on the other side of the border, as Trinity boss Curtis Woodhouse reveals, "I am delighted to get Doug over with us from Wrexham; he is a real promising young player. After getting a glowing reference from Bryan Hughes, it was a no-brainer to help him with his development. I know they have really high hopes for him over there. He just needs game time to help him develop and go on and have a really good career. It's an initial month’s loan, but we will then see how it goes from there."

At twenty years of age, the Wirrall born centre back stands at 6 foot 3 and is both strong in the air and on the deck. And is sure to quickly become a popular addition to the Gainsborough squad. Welcome to the club Doug!

In other news, Billy Chadwick has returned to Hull City following a successful loan period, with Curtis Woodhouse keen to insist the door is always open. Billy applied himself brilliantly during his time with the club and we wish him well in his continued development.
