Wiles Returns & Reunited with Woodhouse

Alex Wiles has this afternoon joined the Holy Blues from Tadcaster Albion on a permanent deal until the end of the season. Wiles, a box to box midfielder, is no stranger to Gainsborough Trinity having spent a spell with the Blues under Dominic Roma. Initially having joined following his release from Rotherham United. Regular football with Tadcaster and Stocksbridge Park Steels have helped the midfielder develop.

Having already played 25 times this season for Taddy, the dynamo is fit and raring to go, back in the blue of Gainsborough. The 23 year old revealing, "I'm really happy to be back at Gainsborough and can't wait to get going this Saturday." Curtis Woodhouse was delighted to link back up with player he took to Tadcaster in the summer, stating: "Alex is another player I am delighted to bring in. He is a player I know really well from working with before I came to Gainsborough. And I am sure the Trinity fans will know all about him too."

"His game is developing and developing every season. At Tadcaster I felt he was the best midfielder in the league. I didn't see anyone better than him. I'm looking forward to working with him again."

Alex will be eligible for selection on Saturday pending completion of the relevant paperwork.
