Liam was a popular member of the Gainsborough Trinity family who sadly lost his life back in November, with hundreds of messages, and outpourings of love and affection spilling out across the town and across our social media pages. Large numbers gathered at the ground to bid him farewell, and now with the country opening back up, the football club have provided the use of the Martin & Co Arena for this charity match.

The match is being held in support of Sheffield Hallamshire Pulmonary Hypertension and Lincolnshire County Respiratory Unit. Admission to the game is £2 for everyone, kick off at 1pm, with all proceeds going to these charities, at the wish of Liam's family.

A plaque is set to be unveiled next to his viewing spot, by Club on the Park, so that Liam's spirit will continue to live on. Once a blue, always a blue. A raffle will be held, with food and drink in Blues Club after the game. Any donations welcome.
